Barony Castle Open Day Sept 2008

Owned by De Vere Venues, Barony Castle is situated in Eddleston Village.  As well as the castle itself, the Barony is host to the Polish Map of Scotland, The Victorian Ice House and the 17th Centure Wedding altar.

During the week, the Barony is host to the Scottish Ambulance Service's Training College and to various corporate and business events, but at the weekends, it is transformed into an increasingly popular wedding venue.  For more info have a look at Barony

Welcome from General Manager Keiran Whyte

Following an extensive refurbishment of the house and grounds, General Manager Keiran Whyte and his staff, welcomed villagers and our surrounding neighbours to an Open Day to see the improvements for ourselves.  Although it poured all day, the event was a huge success with hundreds of visitors - young and old alike

Mr Magic

Our young visitors were treated to an afternoon of intrigue and magic - Mums and Dads were allowed in too!  There was also a bouncy castle and a bucking bronco

For our slightly older guests, there was a Tea Dance accompanied by a delicious buffet afternoon tea

One happy family enjoying the day
